how we handle your application data

WHAT WE COLLECT

Only what you put in the application form: your name, email, LinkedIn URL, location, work authorization, optional links, your CV, and your answers to the role questions. We record which channel the application came from (for example, LinkedIn). No tracking cookies, no analytics beyond that.

WHY

To evaluate your application for the role you applied to, and to contact you about it. We use Anthropic's Claude API to help with an initial structured read of applications; a person reads every application and makes every decision. Anthropic retains API data for up to 30 days and does not train on it. We do not share your data with anyone else.

HOW LONG

We keep applications while the role is open and for up to 12 months afterwards (so we can reach back out for future roles), then delete them. If we ask to keep your application in our talent pool beyond that, we'll ask you first.

YOUR CHOICES

Email careers@coastalassembly.ai at any time to ask what we hold about you, or to have your application and CV deleted. Deletion is complete within 7 days.
